Vision, Mission & Strands

A roadmap to nurturing whole individuals and resilient societies.

Vision

A society of whole people, where meaning is not a privilege, where a person's inner life is tended as seriously as their income, and where transformation moves outward from the self to the family, the community and the nation.

Mission

To teach and inspire a generation to live with meaning and purpose, using the tools, methods and practices of mindfulness and inner transformation drawn from indigenous knowledge and made simple enough for anyone to use.
Strands

The Three Strands

The mission runs through three groups of people. They are not ranked. They are chosen because transformation fails if any one of them is missing—the young without the powerful are a generation with no room to grow into; the powerful without the marginalized is reform that never reaches the ground.

Children & Young People

To guide, counsel, teach and mentor young people through the structure and the process of finding their own gifts, and following them toward a meaningful life. This is the long game. A child who learns at seven to notice her own mind does not need to be repaired at thirty.

Those Who Hold the System

To Transform the consciousness and mindset of the key stakeholders who carry institutional power in government, in business, in faith, in education. Not to lobby them. To offer them the same inner work we offer everyone else, on the understanding that a system cannot go anywhere its leaders have not been.

Those the System Forgot

To work with marginalised communities, market women, informal traders, out-of-school youth, rural communities for whom mindfulness is not a lifestyle choice but an unaffordable abstraction. Not because they need it less. Because they carry the most and are offered the least. Here the work must be free, short, oral, portable and in the language of the person's own mouth.
